Construction Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience with roofing is preferred and solar experience is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various tasks.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
• Help with the installation of structures and fixtures as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project duration.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Good roofing knowledge
• Able and willing to learn!
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
